New profiles are reviewed
A new food-maker profile is hidden from search until it has been checked by Cravings Close By.
Reviews require sign-in
Customers must be signed in to leave a review, helping reduce anonymous spam and repeat reviews.
Reports are private
Signed-in members can report misleading profiles, unsafe behavior, food-safety concerns, harassment, or scams.
Protect yourself
- Never send anyone a password or verification code.
- Do not pay by gift card, wire transfer, or cryptocurrency because someone pressures you.
- Confirm price, food details, allergens, pickup or delivery, and timing before paying.
- For pickup, choose a comfortable arrangement and tell someone where you are going.
- If something feels wrong, stop the conversation and report the profile.

Open the maker’s profile and tap Report profile. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first.
Future “Identity verified” or “Permit verified” badges will describe only the check completed. They will not be a guarantee or endorsement of a person, food, or transaction.
