Cravings Close By helps people discover local food makers. Profiles, photos and reviews are for discovery. Food arrangements take place directly between the customer and maker; we do not prepare, sell, fulfill, deliver or process payment for food.

For makers

By publishing a profile, you confirm that your descriptions and photos are accurate, that you have the right to share them, and that you will follow laws applicable to your activities. Depending on what you make and where you operate, this may include licenses, permits, registrations, food safety and food-handler rules, labeling, allergen disclosures, taxes, cottage food or MEHKO rules, and county or local requirements. You are responsible for your products, communications and arrangements with customers.

For customers

Use profile and review information as a starting point. Confirm ingredients, allergens, terms and practical details with a maker directly before making an arrangement. Treat makers and other members respectfully.

Profiles, reviews and moderation

Cravings Close By is committed to maintaining a welcoming, respectful community centered on local food makers. Profiles, photos and reviews must not contain explicit, discriminatory, hateful, harassing, threatening, deceptive, unlawful or infringing material, or content unrelated to a maker’s food business. Reviews must reflect a genuine personal experience. We may remove content, limit its visibility or restrict accounts that violate these terms or place the community at risk. Members may privately report any profile or review for investigation.

Paid visibility

Featured placement is an advertising service for maker profiles, billed through Stripe at the price and duration displayed at checkout. It is paid placement, not an endorsement or guarantee. Monthly subscribers can manage or cancel renewals from their account; featured status continues through the paid period and then ends. Food transactions are separate from this service.
